Passive Fire Protection
Spray
A monolithic coating to infrastructure to enable it to withstand the thermal shocks
experienced in a high intensity hydrocarbon fuelled fire - whether by total engulfment or
torching fire. Protection is enabled by spraying a lightweight coating of vermiculture and cement
specifically developed for application to elements in exterior environments and interior situations
where mechanical damage is a factor for consideration. Specific finishing coats give impact strengths as high as concrete encasement.

Fire resistance ratings ranging from ¼ to 4 hours can be established from current fire test data to A.S.1530: Part 4, 1985, for beams, trusses, columns, steel support brackets, vessels and ductwork.
