Aerify can replace the asbestos
and synthetic mineral fibre products with new materials, viz metal roofing, boiler and pipe lagging,
bituminous waterproofing membrane, flooring and various insulating products.
Encapsulation
Products available for containing materials and sealing treated surfaces include:
- A brush or spray-applied sealant for use on areas where asbestos
fibre has been removed and it is necessary to coat surfaces to
provide a fibre-tight seal.
- A tough, durable water-borne protective coating, resistant to
fire and chemicals. Its thixotropic structure also enables palm
application to pipework and ducting in restricted areas.
- A cost-effective fluid resin emulsion for sealing porous asbestos
insulation prior to encapsulation providing a fibre-tight seal
on stripped surfaces and controlling random fibres in the de-tenting
process.
- A unique cement-in-a-bandage application for pipelines, which
offers, with its wet-application method, a safe treatment with
minimum disturbance of the hazardous surface. On curing, it locks
into the insulation surface forming an integral membrane which
can be coated with a special coating.
